 The cliff in Rikuchu-kaigan with 200-meter height draws solitude and towers.It is a sawtooth coastline.The origin of the name is said to be that the cliff has the nest of the Temminck's cormorant.

Traffic  If going from the Morioka City town, it is about 93 kilometers to the Sanriku-kaigan area in the national road 455 number line.The terminal of the destination to have gone north and to have turned right at the national road 45 number line at about 6 kilometers and to have been advanced in the prefectural highway 44 number line with there turning left because there was a sign to the Unosu cliff at about 2 kilometers
Parking  About 10 minutes of be walking from the parking lot of being (free of charge) to the observatory on the Unosu cliff
