  Motomachi park which is in the hill which overlooks a foot at the Mt. hakodate, Hakodatekou and a Hakodate City town is the symbolical existence of the port town at which exoticism is overflowed.It is the center of the public administration at the South Hokkaido which a box building magistrate's office and a pioneer were installed in.There is an old Hokkaido Government Office Hakodate branch office government building in in the park and there is an old Hakodate ward public hall on the park.
