 Hakodate is a commercial harbour.It was built in the last years of Meiji as the first warehouse for the sales in Hakodate.At present, it changes the inside of the red brick warehouse group by the making and there is a shop at the souvenir shop and the seafood restaurant beer restaurant and so on.The sightseeing boat is navigating from the pier.
